<p><strong>Dublin Fashion Week is a trade event held over 3 days where members
of the press and buyers can view fashion design collections for the following
season. Dublin Fashion Week is a biannual event: taking place once for the
autumn-winter and once for the spring-summer collections.</strong> </p>

<h2>About </h2>
<p>The inaugural Dublin Fashion Week was held in October 2005. It received
fantastic support from press and buyers and was a resounding success.</p>
<p> Coming from this position of strength we are now in our third season. This
reflects how the design conscious in Ireland are becoming more creative by
backing indigenous fashion design talent. </p>
<p>The commercial success was reflected with sales exceeding €1m. The need
for it was demonstrated by the demand among buyers, press and stylists making
the effort to travel from the corners of Ireland, as well as the UK and
Europe. </p>
<p>Event organiser Sonia Reynolds said:</p>
